Journal Today — Privacy Policy

Journal Today is a private diary, and it is built so that it stays private. We do not run servers that hold your entries, and we never see what you write.

Your entries stay with you

Entries, photos, moods, tags and your settings are stored on your device and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own iCloud account. Apple handles that storage under Apple's privacy terms; we cannot read it. Without iCloud, everything stays on the device.

Passcode and Face ID

The passcode lock and Face ID / Touch ID run entirely on your device through Apple's frameworks. We never receive biometric data or your passcode.

Photos, reminders, sharing

Photos you add are copied into your diary and synced like entries. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Sharing an entry uses the system share sheet; what you share goes only where you send it.

What we do not do

• No account or sign-up.
• No advertising, no tracking, no selling or sharing of data.
• No analytics that identify you. The app talks only to Apple's services (iCloud and the App Store).

Purchases

Pro is sold through the App Store under Apple's terms; we receive no payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled in your Apple account settings.

Deleting your data

Delete entries in the app to remove them from your device and your iCloud account. Deleting the app removes its local data; iCloud data can be managed in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud.

Children

Journal Today is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
